Art Law

Art is primarily something that inspires and for which legal issues do not immediately spring to mind. Nevertheless, there are many links between art and law. Issues concerning contract law as well as copyright law, ownership structures and expert opinions are primarily at the fore when acquiring works of art. On top of this, questions can also arise concerning insurance protection, national and international lending and rights of use. We advise art collectors, galleries, auctioneers, museums and investors on legal issues.

In the fine arts we also advise event organizers and institutions from the fields of theater, concert, literature, dance and opera and support artistic and cultural projects.
