Bratschi Advises Rusterholz Holding AG on Acquisition of Bacher Garten-Center AG

With this acquisition, Rusterholz Holding AG – a family-owned business approaching its 100th anniversary next year – becomes the largest company on the left side of Lake Zurich in the areas of plants, nurseries, and garden and terrace services.
The acquisition of Bacher Garten-Center AG, a company with a 90-year history in Langnau am Albis, represents a strategically significant step for the Rusterholz Group. It expands the group’s service and product offering and strengthens its local market presence. In addition, the transaction secures a succession solution for the business previously led by Bruno Bacher.
Bratschi advised the buyer throughout the contract negotiation and closing of the transaction. The deal was led by Simon Osterwalder (Partner, M&A) and Stephanie Caprani-Pontes (M&A), supported by Florence Buess (Tax) and Emile Merkt (M&A, Contract Law).
