Bratschi advised the Viking Cruises Group with regard to the issue of a USD 675 million offering of 13% Senior Secured Notes. Viking, one of the world’s leading providers of destination-focused travel experiences, is the largest operator of river cruises in Europe, Russia and China, for North American passengers, and offers ocean, lake and river cruises worldwide. The notes are indirectly secured through collateral over 20 Swiss-registered river vessels.

Bratschi acted as Swiss legal advisor to the issuer in this transaction. The team included Thomas Peter (Lead), Barbara Jecklin, Marius Reinhardt (all Capital Markets and Financing) as well as Michael A. Barrot and Kerem Altay (both Tax).
