Dr. Adrian Wyss strengthens Bratschi Ltd‘s intellectual property law and litigation practice

We are very pleased to welcome Dr. Adrian Wyss as a new partner of Bratschi Ltd with effect from 1 June 2021.

Adrian Wyss has long-standing consultancy and litigation experience in the feld of intellectual property law, in particular trademark law, copyright and design law, unfair competition law and contract drafting (in particular license agreements). He also regularly represents clients in commercial and criminal (white collar crime) litigation and arbitration proceedings. Adrian Wyss will be jointly heading the intellectual property, technology and data protection practice group at Bratschi Ltd.

Adrian Wyss studied law at the University of Bern and was admitted to the bar in 2010. In 2013 he obtained his doctorate in trademark law (PhD, summa cum laude). In 2015/2016 he completed postgraduate studies (Master of Laws in IP & Technology, LL.M.) at the University of California at Berkeley. In addition to his work as party representative, Adrian Wyss also sits as an arbitrator and teaches intellectual property law at the University of St. Gallen (HSG) and the FHNW University of Applied Sciences. In 2019, Adrian Wyss was elected by the State Parliament as part-time judge of the Commercial Court of the State of Aargau. Prior to joining Bratschi Ltd. Adrian Wyss was a lawyer in a prestigious business law frm in Zurich for about eight years.
