The Awards Committee of the FAA-HSG has presented Dr. iur. Stefan Rieder with this year’s research prize for his dissertation “Whistleblowing as internal risk communication” (to publisher).In his dissertation Dr. Rieder explores the question of how a company can structure a whistleblowing system in such a way that it safeguards the orderly course of business, business confidentiality and the personal rights of its employees on the one hand but on the other hand it ensures the disclosure of maladministration. As well as an exposition of the current legal situation the dissertation also presents some suggestions for future legislation along with work tools for daily working practice. We would like to congratulate Dr. Rieder warmly on his success.
