Overview

FINMA admission of Primapen KGK

11. April 2016
On March 10 of this year Swiss institutional investors established Primapen KGK, a Swiss Limited Partnership ("Kommanditgesellschaft für Kollektive Kapitalanlagen" or "KGK") investing as a fund of funds in a large number of private equity and infrastructure partnerships adding up to a Net Asset Value of over CHF 1 Bio. The partnership is the first FINMA regulated Swiss fund of private equity funds. Together with UBS Clean Energy and Reichmuth Infrastructure, Primapen shows a growing interest of institutional investors in the KGK as a collective investment funds vehicle. Hannes Glaus and Jean-Claude Spillmann lead the Bratschi Wiederkehr & Buob team structuring and documenting the KGK partnership as well as handling the application process with the Swiss financial regulator FINMA.
