Notenstein acquires Bank La Roche

Notenstein Private Bank Ltd, a subsidiary of Raiffeisen Switzerland, is acquiring the client relationships and staff of Bank La Roche & Co Ltd and following the conclusion of the transaction will operate as Notenstein La Roche Private Bank Ltd. Bank La Roche & Co Ltd has been family-owned since its foundation in 1787, giving it a rich tradition as the oldest bank in Basel. Bank La Roche & Co currently has around 100 employees at locations in Basel, Berne and Olten and manages around CHF 6.5 billion in client assets. Bratschi Wiederkehr & Buob Ltd. is advising the purchaser in this Transaction. The team is led by Christian Stambach.
