German STADA Arzneimittel AG has acquired the Tulln/Austria based SCIOTEC Diagnostics GmbH including distribution structures for EUR 17.2 million in cash. SCIOTEC is primarily focused on the development and marketing of prescription-free OTC products against enzymatic food intolerances. Ion Eglin and Hannes Glaus of Bratschi Wiederkehr & Buob Ltd. assisted the sellers in this transaction.
