Patricia Wiegand is a Trainee lawyer / Junior Associate within the Law Firm Bratschi Ltd in Lausanne. She previously worked as a law clerk in the Economic Crime Division of the Central Public Prosecutor's Office of the Canton of Vaud from 2021 to 2023.

She also worked as a legal counsel in the legal department of La Mobilière Suisse Société d'assurances sur la vie SA, where she dealt with all matters relating to private pensions and compliance. She was also actively involved in setting up an infrastructure to ensure compliance with La Mobilière's internal directives in connection with mortgages, as well as the development of new insurance products, including the drafting of insurance conditions. 

Between 2018 and 2020, Patricia Wiegand was employed as a legal counsel (Senior Consultant) in the legal department of KPMG Ltd in Geneva. As part of this activity, she advised financial intermediaries on a wide range of regulatory and compliance issues, including authorization procedures with self-regulatory organizations. She also reviewed high-risk business relationships / transactions from an AML / CDB perspective, and assessed the accuracy, completeness and plausibility of the client's profile (KYC). 

Alongside her university studies, she worked first as a legal trainee, then as a legal counsel in the legal and compliance department of a Swiss bank. 

In 2018, she obtained her Master of Laws in Economic Law degree from the University of Geneva.
