A new Mercure flagship hotel for Zurich

The German multi-brand hotel operator, The Chocolate on the Pillow Group, is expanding into Switzerland and, in collaboration with Accor, will take over the «Vulcano» hotel in Zurich-Altstetten starting from November 1, 2023. The hotel features 319 rooms, numerous meeting and event spaces, a wide range of food and beverage offerings, and will undergo a transformation over the next 18 months.
Bratschi provided guidance and support to The Chocolate on the Pillow Group and Accor in this business takeover. The Bratschi team consisted of Ion Eglin (Head, Hotel Contracts), Daniel Mosimann (Corporate), and Ivo Hungerbühler (Labor Law).
